Am I missing something or what. I received this horse LULU CAPE #70962 in one of my stables awhile back. She came up injured right away and after the layoff ran like a dog in a 2500 claimer. I put her in the auction and some one is bidding 17,555 for her. She is 6 years old and while I do not know that much about breeding she does not seem very special to me. Did I miss something or what? Teddy

Have NO clue....on a side note, the past 2 weeks, I have paid over 50k on 2 different maidens. The first one won and I got 50 BP's, this week, she is favored 1/9. If she wins, then another 50 BP's in the pocket. I'm playing the BP game big time right now.....I also have a bid on a maiden this week for over 200k.a point given and storm cat. I might end up keeping her.

maybe the bidder was the original owner, or they just like something about her for breeding. $17000 is not very much I suppose to take a chance.
Mr Lucky. Your 50BP was due to the horse running for you for the 1st time. 1st time runs get the BP award doubled. If you win again you will still get 20.. plus 5 if back at same track. Nice pickup. I like it when they place the first time out for me.
