I had two in Stakes races and the one whom I thought would go close ran a shocker but my three year old filly from my Hydrogen stable won hers beating two who had much better times than her. At present she is 6 from 9 and that includes 4 Stakes and even though she has yet to break 90 she just keeps plodding on, I really don't know how long she can keep winning with these slow times? O f the rest I managed a couple of places but all in all not a great week for me.

I had about 40 runners this weekend. Ended up getting 5 firsts. Ended up getting 4 wins in the 3 man, 40 extra BP's sure did help. I had 3 stables that earned over 150 BP's just this week alone. I had no allowance or stakes horses this weekend, in matter of fact, I have NO stake horses. Right now, I'm playing the claiming game. I'm buying a lot of maidens right now, running them 1 race and dropping them. Trying to build up some BP's so next year, I can possibly have some nice horses. Nice stakes win this weekend.  |

I ended up with a record of 30-3-2-3 Like bill I am playing the claiming game. It was interesting in that a horse I claimed for 2000 a few weeks ago got claimed off of me for 20000 this week. That was a bonus. As time goes on with these stables hopefully they will improve. Teddy  |

Nothing wrong with the claiming game we all had to start that way.
Ages ago I did that with a stable in a contest in a now defunct residency and colected the credits.
I still do the claimers and auction and still pick some fair horses that way. Except for a couple of stables that is still the way I go.

I sent out 18 last week got back 2-3-1 not bad, hopefully I can improve on that this week. Sent out Delere (79909) for a grade 2 try. He gave it his all but is just a bit below the best 3 yr olds at this time in the year still a fourth place finish earned ten grand so not a bad showing.
