Claim a horse for 5,000 or under and let's see what we can do with them. You can't bid or buy a race.
The horse must be claimed in weeks:

3266
or
3273
Contest will start 3280 so we have 3 weeks to get a pony ready.
The contest will last 15 weeks. You can only use 1 horse.
Please post here what horse you plan on using.
Winner will receive 1000 credits
If we have more than 7 trainers in this contest, I will throw in another 500 credits for 2nd.

does it have to be a horse from a claiming race or can it be a horse that is brought from auction under 5,000?

I think you are just going to have to put in for few, pick up what you can and decide what is your best claim.
Shouldnt be too hard getting a few claims for $5000, I wouldnt expect to many offers going in on them.

The tag will change to 5k I believe.

Yes, the tag changes to 5K but you can run your horse in any type of race you want, correct?
Mr. Lucky do you have some type of point grid for winning different race types - claim, starter, allow, etc?
I guess my question is, how will this contest be scored?

You can run them in any race you like, just hope they don't get claimed.
The points structure will be the same as we do the quarterly

Yeah good point Lucky, didnt think about them getting claimed. That certainly puts a bit more pressure on where you place them.
So it is just a straight point system for placing in the top 5 regardless of race....that keeps it simple.

oops sorry I looked at wrong stabes I only read the part that said starts this week thats ok. I would have entered 36904 if I knew but thats ok i will sit out can you send me a private message outlining when new contests will begin
