We have the 2 year old race week 3217.
Should we have another 7 week contest?
What about oldest horse to win a race?
Any other suggestions? I'm game for anything and I can always purchase more credits to buy more races.

I mentioned it before but you can have a fantasy style competition.
Have 2 4 or 5 team divisions (depends on how many play)
You go head to head with a different person each week.
You start any 2-4 horses (open for debate)
You get points for how they produce and at what level.
Maidens/Claimer, MSW - 1 pt for every horse you beat
Starters - 1.5 pts for every horse you beat
Allowance - 2 pts for every horse you beat
Stakes - 3 pts for every horse you beat
Graded - 4 pts for every horse you beat.
You don't have to purchase races this way. You or your opponent can be resposible for your weeks head to head scoring so that one person doesn't get all the work.
You can throw in bonus style points as well.
+1 pt for leading wire to wire
+1 pt for SR over 100
+1 pt for winning as a longshot (Would have to define longshot before contest began)
+1 pt for breaking a Maiden
+1 pt for big lead win (5 lengths or more)
+1 pt for sloppy track win (50% or higher)
negatives
-1 pt for losing as favorite
you can do any of these or all of these or even make up others to keep it interesting.
After we all have played each other once(or even twice if you want to make a longer contest-that would be a 18 week contest plus 2 for the playoffs). The top 2 stables in each division will have a face off and the winners facing each other to determine the winner. Losers would play for third place. Determined by overall record - division record - pts scored (tiebreaker)
One week you may just be on and win 25 - 6 but the next week is completely different as it would be different horses.
Towards the end would be interesting as who would rest their horses for the playoff or have to use them to ensure they get in.
Tweek it if you want, just a basic idea. Keeps the rez in competeion without having to buy races.
Let a brother know.
If we all pitched in 200 credits (10 folks)
Winner could get 1000 credits for any horse they want to breed
Second 600
Third 400
3rd and 4th place teams could just compete for fun and split 200 a piece and break even.

Sounds really interesting Mike and a bit different. I would be keen to run in it. Not sure about the bonus points but, dont want to make it too complicated.
