Any interested members, clear out a stall in one of your barns. I Will be posting the rules and prizes for the contest shortly.. Hoping for a nice turnout, should be a lot of fun ;D Ryan ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The GET ME A WIN - Bargain bred contest Inaugural races on week 2594, in Pennsylvania Rules1) only 1 bargain bred per Resident for contest 2) must be a 2 yr old 3) must be a home-bred ( no breeding from mares ) 4) Sire used must have no offspring with a win during the last 2 years <----- ( fun part ) You can find these sires by using the Breeding then sire stats links, make sure you are looking for sires with a Sim birth year of 2003 or earlier, then click on the top of the winners column, this will send all the sires without winners to the end of the list, then you can search down a few thousand till you get to the sires without wins and take your choice, there are many, and some with potential that haven't been used ever!!! Anyone with a easier way to search for them, please share, this is the best way I know, but there is always a better way!!! anyone with problems can send me a personal message and I will try to talk you thru finding the sires, or can send you a list of some after looking them up myself. 5) you can use any combination for the dam/ dam dam sires, as long as total cost doesn't exceed the bargain amount of 100 breeding points. Prizeswinners of the inaugural dirt / turf races - 100 credits first contest horse with: claimer win - 50 credits starter win - 50 credits allowance win - 100 credits stakes win - 250 credits 100 + speed - 250 credits (will carry over to 3 year olds if not reached by a 2 yr old) we will also try to have a 3 yr old contest with same horses to see the affects the age change has on them, I will work on that later in the year! any suggestions welcome. please post your bargain breds under this thread as soon as possible

Looking at the turn out so far, we have 6 bargains at the moment... , I am only going to purchace 1 race for week 2594, and wait another 4 weeks to purchace the race with the other surface. all who have thier bargains bred, please post weather you prefer the first race be on the turf or the dirt! Any way it works out, we will all surely try both surfaces! Also, please hold off untill week 2594 for the Inaugural Race to start off the competition! Afterwards you are at your own will on when to run your bargains! and please only races in NA , I will allow all NA including Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Argentina. Good Luck every1

Sorry Mr. Lucky I see you used the computer to pick you bargain bred, only problem is.... there is a horse bred this year from that sire with a win, and rule 4 of the contest states horse must come from a sire who has not fouled an offspring with a win in the past 2 years. To be fair to the rest of the members I cannot let your bargain in the contest. But if you like you can breed another, I will be running a dirt race in 4 weeks, and all members are still welcome to breed an entry anytime durring the contest! sorry again, but I must keep it fair for every1 Ryan
