Restricted Race for 2496--May 21/05

I am going to buy a race restricted to residents on 2496-Saturday May 21/05.
This race will be restricted to NA residents only and also be restricted to the two year old horses that were given away upon joining the residency. Mr. Lucky you will be allowed to enter any of your own 2 years olds in your resident stable.
I plan on having the purse for this race to be $100,000.
I guess I like throwing away money but I do want to help out this residency.
In order to be fair to everybody with regards to where to hold this race I need all parties who will enter their 2 year old in the race to list 3 preferences for the track location to be used. I will then tally up the votes and get the race to be held at the highest voted track.
Pick 3 tracks---5 points for 1st choice, 3 points for 2nd choice and 1 point for third choice.
I will also give 750 credits to the stable of the race winner.
So, please post if you will be entering this race and put in your track selections.

What a great deal! Thanks for doing this.

I'd vote for Maryland, California, or Kentucky (in that order).

I think I had a 2yo sent my way, but he hasn't shown up in my stable yet. I'll hold off on starting him until that week, as if I started him now, I'm sure he'd be groggy when that week rolled around!

This race is going to cost about 1200 credits to run so I am going to need some commitment from residency members before I buy the race. Please post on this thread if you will enter this race and select your 3 tracks of choice for location. If there is enough interest by next wednesday April 20th I will go ahead and buy the race. Hope to hear from everyone soon. ;D

i am more than willing to send 'chance' out against everybody else's baby's he's racing this saturday but hopefully he'll be ready by the time this race comes around . i think i will go (1) Wisconsin, (2) Kentucky and (3) Minnesota as my tracks of choice. thanx for sponsering this race, i think it's a great idea. till then ;D

Votes will be tallied until Wednesday and then I will purchase the race on Thursday.

The idea for this race was to use the 2 year olds that were given when joining the res. Since I made the race up that way I will keep it that way. If you have not yet received yours post for Bill (Mr Lucky) as you still have time to receive yours before the race.

I am going to sponsor a restricted race every month for the res so after this race is over I will post a new thread to see what ideas everyone has for the next one.
