Anyone take a dip in the breeding pool yet? Me I got my feet wet, afew times already.Nothing costly, sort of saying in the shallow end of the pool.

None cost very much as I used mares that were just hanging around my barns, but perhaps one or two might turn out alright. My next batch of breedings will wait until later on in the season.I just wnted to have some horses to run when 2 yr old racing starts.

7 two year olds so far, across all my stables.
All 7 were from retired mares that I share, so I wanted to get them done fast!

I decided to wait until at least June or July before I breed any 2yo's this year. Hopefully, I'll be able to breed some fancy ones by then.
