I'm referring to the "in real life" KY derby.
Anybody do anything special for Derby day... party, etc.? Give me some ideas... ;D

I know I will have to work. I have not actually seen the race in over 20 years, but occasionaly may catch it on the radio.
When is it?

Over in Australia here so it is a little hard to keep track of the lead up races, although we do get all the breeding of the Stakes winners in the Monday paper. Saw a nice looking colt win the Santa Anita Derby by Pleasant Tap that looks promising. The other I like, on breeding alone, is Sightseeing who ran second in the Wood memorial. He is by Pulpit and only went down by half a length, he should be thereabouts.

Any given Saturday. With the race this weekend, it's up for grabs. I just love the movie (Sunday).

Well, Tech, I hate to disagree with you my old friend and even if I am from PA also, I have to say that "Curlin" is my choice. How can you go wrong with his Mr. P and Deputy Minister in his makeup.Of course I have tried that combo in the Sim and got me nothing. But that's another story! lol mike aka greentreef
