I am begining to becoem frustrated with my inability to become more competitive. Any insights, ideas, thoughts, stratergies, etc... would be greatly appreciated. I see that we haev 124 stakes winners lifetime and I know not a single one is mine.

Mike it is really tough when you first start out mate I,m not the greatest trainer but here are some thoughts. Isee some of yours haven,t been run over distances so try them at that on both surfaces look at claiming races and see if you can claim a reasonable one or two over the years I have fluked some who went on to win stakes. the auction can be okay but is very time consuming if you can afford it buy some creditsand use them to breed you don/t have to spend big bucks to get winners. lastly don,t give up this is agreat game but can get frustrating I have been around for years and I still get frustrated. you also could go on to the new players message board and get some help there. Hope that can help

I agree with what Bigkev said, it takes awhile to figure things out in this game. Don't be afraid to try everything with each horse you have. I've had horses that look to be bred to be dirt routers and they turn out best in turf sprints! A little luck helps sometimes too. But don't get discouraged, the stake winners will come!
