3yo only Stakes

I am thinking of making a 3yo only stakes race for Christmas time (2713) Not a contest. Just a last chance for a 3yo only race which is rare this time of year. If there is enough interest here we can make it password protected for NA residents. Otherwise, I will leave it open for all. More then one entry can be made as long as anyone who wants in gets a slot.

Let me know if you are interested. I am figuring 1 mile dirt. If there is a lot of turf interest also I could make 2 races, but I would ask for some credit help I think.

Hi Jim that is a very nice offer if you do run the race for NA residents I would have a couple who I could send.

Secrets Not Gone (44672) Who is running this week if he doesnt bounce he would go to the race

Otherside (94758) who is more off a sprinter but can sometimes handle a mile

Ghostlyformer (92410) who I really want to see how he would handle the switch to dirt and added distance.

Creep (94764) who has been getting beat up by older horses would welcome a last chance 3 yr old race

Epitude (92791) who I think is ready to try stakes

Now I would not send all five and if I could only choose one I would say Epitude but depending on there training and if they come up sharp on race week I should have 2 or 3 ready for your race if you deceide to go with it.

Come on guys I know there are more 3 yr olds out there to join this race which would be fun.

I meant to say week 2720 which is the final week of 2005.

Cyborg Sid probably will not run depending on how he recovers from injury.

But I do have a few allowance winners to choose from for this.

See Song (3348) has hit the wall at 11-12f so I want to try him back down at 8f anyway.
Turtle Time (11035) will probably get schooled at the NAR invitational this week, but if she holds up there I may try a stakes next.

I am sure that I could come up with a runner for the race if you decide to purchase it. That would be very nice way of ending the year at the rez.

OK. I made the race in Kansas 3yo only. 1 mile on dirt. week 2720. 20 entries allowed.
Too late but I forgot to raise the purse level to over 100k, so travel may be an issue. Sorry.

Anyone who wants to should be able to enter 2 horses. Otherwise only your first choice goes.

I don't know if you guys have seen Epic's post on the main board yet or not, but if what he says is true, then the horses will age between 2713 and 2720....so our 3yos will be 4yos by the time this race is run.

Actually, someone else noticed that there are 2yo races carded for 2720, so it looks like 2727 will actually be the first week of the new year, so we should be ok!

On the main board it looks like the consensus agrees that 2720 is the last race day before the horses age. I will try to get a definative answer.

I received a reply from Mike who has told me that the horses will go up 1 year in age on the update following the races on week 2720 so your race will be fine.
