23 runners: 3/4/0/4/2 212 BP's, kinda an average week overall, but with as many as I had at low-to-very-low odds, the week should have been better... Two of those 2nd's were on Tues. and one of the 4th's. My Saturday started out as if it was gonna be CRAP, too... I watch my races alphabetically by stable, and I watched one low-odds horse after another be non-competitive, though I did have YYUUYYU run a distant 4th in his stakes debut... Eventually, though, I got to my Seattlesle stable and watched Tiger Rag Leo go to deep-stretch with the lead only to get caught in the last jump.  Then, Barking Tree and Clear Danger won, making it a very good day for Seattlesle indeed  Melodear then won for SirBarton before things went back to more like the way they had been as I watched the rest of my nags run. |
