Alvin's MixThe name is yet another reference to something from my favorite radio sports-talk show, The Jim Rome Show. I have horse names referring to that show sprinkled throughout my stables. BTW, this is the same Jim Rome who used to bash horse racing all the time. I love his show despite this obvious flaw in his personality  HOWEVER, Rome has recently changed his tune, correcting that flaw... He is now a racehorse owner, having all or part-interest in seven horses through the Little Redfeather group. He was too late to get in on Little Redfeather's 2005 Breeders' Cup Mile winner Singletary, but has had a couple winners thus far.
