POST UP! I'll start... 20 runners, 2 wins, 5 2nd's and 5 3rd's. Also a fifth, so 13 of 20 cashed... 245 BP's earned, not bad for just 20 runners. A few results of higher-than-usual interest (to me, anyway): 2yo filly Pianoflage, named after one of my favorite finger-busting piano novelty tunes of the 1920's, had finished 2nd in all three of her career starts on dirt, so I tried her on the sod... She ran 2nd. The randomly-named Yyuuyyu, a 2yo colt, ran strongly in his debut, a near-miss 3rd. Former star Jumpin' Java, a G1 winner of $2.5 mil, continued his long losing streak, running 3rd in a 5-horse NW1Y field. I'm lloking more and more seriously at retiring him to the she-male breeding shed... Who to breed him to.... Dylan Thomas? Big Brown? Curlin? Someone else? Only one shot with a she-male breed... Hmmm.....
