I have signed up for the equinics this year, should we team up with another rez since I don't know if we have enough horses for all the races. Thanks

I have to admit that I haven't looked through the horse population of the NAR, but it seems to me that we have enough stables to at least try going on our own. We probably don't have much of a shot of winning the overall title, but we can probably field a set of horses that will do reasonably well in many of the races.

I think we should look within before we team up. I know we wont be able to compete with the bigger residences but we gotta start some where!

I agree I say lets give it a go on our own. It would not be the same to get a win from another residency even if we were part off a team. Plus I would hate for one off our own to get shut out of a once in a lifetime race in favor off another horse from another residency.

I agree with everyone else--we should go it alone and do the best that we can. We are a first year rez and will probably not be able to compete with the older rez's but we should try our best and see what the results's are. We have alot of stables and horses in this rez and should be able to field a pretty good team. teddy

Just wondering for next year how we are planning on picking our representitives for the Equinics. I was thinking maybe a selection committee after the owner's nominated their horses for each race. We could also run elimination races but I really dont think we have the numbers to make that worthwhile.
What does everyone else think?

The residencies that I've been involved with for the last equinics used a selection committee of 3 or 4. I think that makes sense.

Yeah have nomination threads for the races and then have a commitee pick the horses out of the threads. ts1442
