I'm not a great writer, but here it is:
As Legend, Liddleski and Zman are walking into the casino that sits on the Ohio River, they notice a gentleman walking around in circles like he is lost. Legend knew that he needed to say something but Zman says “Come on guys, let’s get to the casino”. Liddleski says “No, we got to help him out”. So, all three walk up to this gentleman and he’s holding a lit torch. The guys ask if he needs help and the gentleman states “Hi, I’m Buzz from Kentucky, I’m here to pass this torch off to some lucky guy, I didn’t know who he was so I took a guess that only a lucky guy would be at a casino, that’s why I’m here looking for a lucky guy.”
As the Legend starts laughing, he says, “Are you looking for MrLucky from the Ohio Thoroughbred Racing residency?”
Buzz states, “Yeh, that’s him, do you know him? If so, please take this torch and pass it along.”
As the 3 guys take the torch, Zman still wants to go to the casino, stating “Remember, we got to meet up with Kiddman, Hoggy, and Magoo. Hoggy has this hot tip on a horse to win the in the 8th race today, he’s even a 14-1 long shot. I can buy that Mercedes that I’m been wanting forever now”
So, the 3 take the torch, walk into the casino and head directly to the very back corner of the casino, knowing that they would meet up with Kiddman, who always plays the same slot machine for the past 4 years. As the 3 walk up, Kiddman is smiling ear to ear, with Magoo at his side.
Magoo says, “Look what we just won! Kiddman and I just won the progressive jackpot on 2 machines, totaling over $65,000.”
Zman, holding the torch is in disbelief, asks where Hoggy is at. Magoo is pointing over at the sports book, and says,” Do you see the 2 muscle guys standing at that table? That’s Big Kev and Big Mike, they are protecting BJ Bandit. BJ Bandit just won the first 7 horse races in today’s special event. Hoggy is over there and hasn’t even made a bet, he supposedly has this long shot to win today, but Hoggy always loses, like today is going to be any different.”
Zman knows that Hoggy doesn’t always come through but he has a feeling that today’s going to be different. It’s the big payday he’s been waiting for and Hoggy has the inside track.
As the 8th race is ready to start, Hoggy comes up to Z and tells him, “Number 2”, then walks away.
Zman, smiling ear to ear, goes up the teller still holding the torch, goes up a places a big bet on #2 to win. He then goes back and finds a nice seat to watch the race, as the gate flies open, Zman has eyes wide open and screaming for #2. As #2 crosses the finish line, Zman is jumping for joy, knowing he just hit the big one, the torch flies out of his hands and luckily another person grabbed it out of the air.
Zman goes up to them and thanks them very much for grabbing this torch and asks for it back. They state, “Hey, I’m Given from GR Simsters, I think this is mine. I’m supposed to get this from a Lucky person, you must be that person, it’s nice to meet you.” Zman says, “I’m not the Lucky man, but I do remember that I overheard MrLucky is supposed to meet up with you at some point, I guess this is that point. But, please do this for me, 2 years ago, OHIO only tallied 5 points in the Equinics, I just won a few bucks, how about I slide you a couple and maybe you can help OHIO out when we meet up in a few weeks?”
Given: “It’s going to cost you but I can’t make any promises.” As Zman slides some cash to Given, hoping it will help out OHIO this year, he yells:
