After watching him today, he did look amazing but then again, it was a very week field.
Can't wait till the Belmont now. ;D ;D

I was wondering already if Colonel John might be a spoiler.
However, it was effortless today. He didn't even use the whip down the stretch. It looks like the Triple Crown is going to happen.

Big Brown was impressive, for sure! Desormeaux had Big Brown under heavy wraps with 150 yards to go, or he might have won by 15, maybe more!

Bit of a shame to see him fail so badly today, certainly not the same horse. It really is amazing, it seems nearly every second year we have a very good horse come out, seem destined to win the triple crown and then fall at the last hurdle in some obscure fashion. I guess it just builds on the prestige and magic of the triple crown but surely we are overdue for a sweep.
