Hi Bill. I have been real busy for most of this year (at sea and interstate) so I havent been around much but the bjbandit/bigkev stables are fired up for the Equinics. I guess the first thing we need to decide is how the Rez will choose the horses. Will there be a selection commitee or maybe just leave the final choice with Bill. Doesnt really bother me how we do it cause I think this Rez is very honest and everyone here plays within the spirit of the game. The other idea is maybe to start a new Message Board forum with each Equinics race listed as a topic and we could all nominate any horses that may fit the criteria. We can then see what we have and where our strengths and weaknesses are. I dont expect that we will trouble the big Rez's but if we could jag one or two wins that would be huge. Cant wait to see what horses we have amongst the members. Brendan

I'll get that taken care of this weekend with a new message board......have no clue on the selections, as we have about 12 - 15 active members.

I've got a few horses in my stables that are stakes worthy. A 6yr old Male Dirt Sprinter, A 3yr old Male Turf Router, A 5yr old Female Dirt Sprinter/Miler, and a couple of promising 2yr olds both Male and Female.

A have a couple 2 and 3 YO's that are pretty good, don't think they're capable of winning but could at least be in the mix. My older horses are not worthy!
As for selections, IMO the best way is to have 3 or 4 residents pick their top 3 and the Bill could tally up the scores. I've been in res in the past where all members cast a vote, that could work too since we're not too big - or Lucky can pick em all. Whatever way is fine with me.

I will be away a lot during the second half of the year so I am happy to let others look after the organisation and selections but I will sit down and go through the stables and see what we have to offer.
Kev will be looking after all the stables while I am away so there wont be any problems with the horses not being ready. I will get the ball rolling tonight with some of our older horses and add the 2 & 3yos in over the next month.
