Nice going there Mark, I should be so lucky. Not just my 2yr olds did poorly, 9th, 10th, 13th, but my my one stakes entry (1000 cpu ) also finished 13th. And to add insult to injury, no body even wanted any of my claimers even with odds like 7/5 and 5/2, both picked first by odds.It's weeks like this that make you just shake your head and wonder what am I doing playing this game.

Not so hot here... One win, three places, two shows from 17 runners for an unimpressive 123 bp's. My best runner, multiple graded-stakes winner #73834 Jumpin' Java, ran a distant 4th in a small stakes after a moderately long rest, and came back "lil groggy".  He gets another longish rest... If he comes back then and races badly and/or comes back in less-than-RTG condition, I may have to consider dropping down to allowances, or the sex-change breed-over option. He's getting a bit long in the tooth at age 7, though he's run just 37 races, and might have lost a step or two. |
