I breifly looked over them but the first question is this, how can you run a horse every 8 weeks or so? I run my allowance or stake horses every 3 weeks. Gotta watch them run. BUT...those are some nice ones there.

Okay mate this is what I think, but I am by no means an expert. ;D
Mike The Animal - If she were mine I would be really keen to give her a try on the turf, just in case. I doubt she will do any better but you would hate to get another year down the track and find out she was a monster on the grass. Other than that I would just keep ticking her over in the type of races she has been running in, looks about right to me.
Tyran The Hulk - a mile on the dirt definitly looks his go. I think he is probably a notch below stakes class and his number of races are starting to creep up so I would try to pick up as many allowance wins as you can and then look at using him to breed with next year.
Wondergirl Djava - Age and runs maybe catching up with her, there really isnt much you can do that you havent already tried. Again I would just keep her in allowances or weak stakes till next year and look to breed with her.
Givetilithurt- I dont think it was a fluke mate, he has shown he has some ability, but I would not step him up to a stakes yet. I would just try a few more allowances and get a good idea exactly what his his best distance then go from there.
I would agree with Mrlucky, you could probably do with running a few of them a bit more often. I run my better horses every 4 weeks generally. There is no hard and fast rule and everyone does it differently but I wouldnt be taking 6 or 8 weeks unless they were out of form and I was trying to rest them a bit.
Good luck with them Mark and let us know how they go. I think you have a pretty good handle on these ones. ;D

Yeah you are right, everyone runs them different and thats what makes the game great. You have a lot more stables/runners than I do as well so it is probably a lot easier to manage with the system you have. ;D

I run at every 5-6 weeks. I usually wait until they are sharp. But I may try a 3 week rest for a while and see if it improves anything.

i argee with everyone else. its just depends on the horse and how well it bounces back after racing. i had two horses a closing arguement filly and a songandaprayer colt and i ran those two for three weeks straight and they repaid me with winning three weeks in a row before they was claimed i got both back the filly retired her and i have the colt still racing.

but can someone help me out with this filly 121939. her name is slew's brass and i've tried everyway i can think of to make her win and i'd hate to sell her since she has a nice pedigree. i just want to have her win a couple of races before i retire her and breed her to hard spun next year when the new sires arrive.
