Hey y2j, welcome to the rez. Great to see another trainer. Congrats with Relaunch the Gold in the grade 3, that was a nice run. I was a bit dissapointed with my guy, especially after his previous run. Just think he was a bit flat so hopefully he will bounce back next time out. I will let you know where we are pointing him once I work it out and maybe we can have a rematch. Boomgate is looking like our 2000 guineas horse as well, if we are lucky so hopefully there will be plenty of battles ahead with these 2.

Glad to read about some of the wins, had afew my self. Ended up with 30 0f 57 earning some $ and PB's. With 6 wins in the mix. I am most happy about a 3yr old that I bred last week and ran it in a MSW.She came in first in 7914.I have high hopes for that filly (125939). Welcome Y2J to the rez. mike aka Greentreef

Hey y2j, we will probably be aiming Boom Gate towards that same week but might step him up to the mile in the Tiny Toes Stakes Gr III. I would prefer to run before that but we are going to aim him towards the World Cup Juvenile races representing Australia so that is the only program that will fit and then onto the Breeder's Bowl if he is good enough.
I would have liked to follow the path we took with Andy's Choice a couple of years ago by running in the Gr I High Flyer Stakes over 8 then on to the Breeder's Bowl, he then went on to win the 2000 Guineas as a 3yo. But it will be too much fun to miss the World Cup if he is good enough.
I dont know whether Boom Gate is up to Andy's class, especially after his dissapointment last time out but he will get every chance. Things could change cause I will have to talk to Bigkev as he looks after that stable and may want to follow the same path we took with Andy's. I will keep you posted.

Hey y2j, Bigkev and I run our stables together (he is my dad) and she is in one of mine. I honestly have my doubts whether she is up to it but after I missed the 2nd leg of the Residency challenge I decided to give her a crack at a graded, the stakes races came up almost as hard. I have another 2yo running in a graded race this week so figers crossed one of them can snare a win. Our 2yos are looking good this year, already have 1 graded win, 2 graded placings, a few stakes wins and some promising ones to come.
