How many do you have running, what are the odds looking like this week, and do you have any big guns running or at least one to watch? I have 55 running this week but alas, none in my Ohio stables. That will soon be remedied as I am re-arranging all my stables so that I will have, at least, one Ohio stable running each week. My odds are a typical mixed bag, ranging from 8-5 in an alw race to 31-1 in another alw. Average, without calculating it, looks to around 8-1. Several of my 3yr and a few 4 yr olds are running out of options, that is to say, I've tried a lot of different distances, both surfaces, and allowed time for maturity... and they still haven't shown me that they can pay for their feed as a runner. Perhaps they will do well for trail riding. Last week I had seven running in stakes... the best I could do was a 2nd and two 3rds. This week I have one running in a G2 at 8-1 odds (not much of a chance here as this horse is a minor stakes runner at best and more likely just a good alw runner... however nothing else suited him, he needed a run, and at 8-1 odds who knows...). One also running in a G3 that does have a nice chance at 9-2 odds, a 3yr old filly. Pazjazz likes her chances in his article for the BTB and so do I. A minor stakes runner in DC at 7-2 odds and three running in 2yr old restricted stakes races in Ireland at 3-1, 3-1, and 8-1 odds. Otherwise mostly alw runners with some msw and a few clm and mc thrown in. As usual with me... no starter alw runners. Hope all of you have some nice ones running and good luck! Larry
