HOW WAS YOUR WEEK 2573

Only two winners for me this week one was a 2yr old making his debut recorded an 80 the other was resurgence duece one of my favourites he was the first $25 horse I bred danzig x forty niner x nijinsky, he was pretty hopeless as a 2 yr old but as a 3 yr old won a couple of stakes plus a gr3 and ran 5th I think in the english derby. Since than has won a few and yesterdy finally got to 10 mco's, I think he has done his dash now though and will probably give him a sex change and breed. The rest of mine didn't fare so well.

Nice win %, but also more then usual finished 6th or worse. 14-7-1-0-0-1. The 7 wins were: ALW-1, Str-2, CLM-2 MCL-2.

3 wins for the BP contest stable giving them a needed boost. They now have over 20 starts, so the deadwood will be headed for auction soon.

My best stable jimch10 had only one runner. Stormy Sea who did very well at stakes level as a 2yo but is now struggling at ALW coming in 9th for the 2nd time in a row.

These next 3 were on the cut list if they did not do well on Saturday. They all were cheap auction pick-ups:
I tried Admiral Benbo at 14f (longest previous was 9.5) He won the nw2l by 5 lengths.
Spare Grapple won his MCL finally trying 9f for the 1st time.
Top Speed is another who responded well to increased distance and dramatic change in the jockey instructions. made up 5 lengths at the stretch to edge out a win by 1/4.

Twilight Eyes I claimed for $2000, won her MCL picking up a nice 56BPs for jimch9.

I ran mostly claim races as usual but for the first time in a long time everyone made back to my stables. I guess all of my good claimers have been picked clean.

I finished 38-7-5-3 for the week with my NAR stables.

ACUTE ZEUSS--won 2nd time in a row---2k claimer

DEW DROP INN--won a 10k starter--has won 3 out of 5 since I claimed him

GENTLE FORCE--won a 5k claimer and he was claimed off of me in this race so I had a win and a 2nd place finish with him

LOW RENT DISTRICT--won a 2k starter in his first start in my barn since I claimed him for 7.5k

INDEED A NATIVE--2500 claimer won and was claimed off of me-had a third and the win in the two races in my barn

MIDNIGHT PHIL--won a 15k claimer and was claimed off of me--won both of his races in my barn and was a 4k claim then so good earner for me

QUICK FIX--this 100 auction buy won a 4000 claimer in his first start in my barn and earned a nice 58 bp's.

Had some poor efforts by some of my better horses this week so hopefully they will rebound next week.

Bound to Happen II finished 2nd in a 7500 starter for me with a 100 sr which i was pleased with as well.

Hope everyone had a good week-especially Mr Lucky in Vegas (but with a name like that how could you lose ;D)

Glad to see you got some mileage out of Gentle Force after claiming him out of my tbrag stable teddy.

I had another fine week with a 7-1-1 record from 10 starts. My Galileo 2yold filly won a minor stakes race, while another Galileo claim won a starter at 9 panels. My Elusive Quality colt posted a 100sf while winning his 5th race in 6 starter starts since I claimed him, finishing 2nd in his lone loss.

Hopefully more of you had good weeks also.

It was an awesome week for me. I got my first ever Grade 1 win! Seattle Delta in race 1015. He was my only winner in the residency, but if you're going to get just one win, that's the way to do it!
