I have a 2 year old, she hasn't run for a few weeks. She is a very well bred female and I trained for this week but she didn't come up sharp. Her ID number is 27021 She has had 2 races, both on dirt and has won both of them. I was thinking about putting her on turf this week but since she didn't come up sharp, what should I do?
1 Train her for week 2517 2 Run her on Turf in a stakes race 3 Run her on Turf in an allowance race 4 Run her on dirt
THANKS

The breeding definitely points to a turf router and I just finished checking the sire history and the king mambo-danzig connection has produced some nice turf routers. I do not know what your usual rest time is for 2 year olds but I usually only run them every 6 weeks. The ready to go on 2 year olds can be misleading and if you run them too soon you end up killing them. Looks like a nice one though. Good Luck Teddy

Good chance she will get sharp for 2517 if you change the TFD before sunday's update starts.

That is a blueblood and that's for sure. Kingmambo gets great turfers and dirters and so does the cross with Danzig. However he is two from two on dirt even though he went backwards a bit at his last run. I would certainly try him on turf but if your changing surfaces than it may pay to run him in an allowance. I have found that 2 yr olds if they miss on coming up sharp don't usually come up sharp even if you put them back. So when your ready to run him go for it as rtg can be as good as sharp esp with 2yr olds.

Set train for week to 2524, if she still does not come up sharp run her that week.
