I'm Pat, living in Oregon, originally from the SF Bay Area.

I've been a racing fan since the late 60's, when my parents used to take me to the Northern California county-fair tracks... Haven't missed a Triple Crown race on TV since 1969!

When I first got connected to the Internet in 1995, an online horse-racing game was the first thing I ever looked for... Not much out there back then. In 1997 or so, I found a game that was based on the "runnerbeast racing" part of Jane McCafferey's Legend Of Pern fantasy book series. It was, welll... okay... I played that sorta half-heartedly until the late summer of 1998 when someone put a link to simulatedsports on that message board. I was hooked immediately. REAL sim racing!! The Pern site is long gone, but the Sim lives on, getting better and better!

My biggest goal Sim-wise is to get to the Bluegrass Derby and win, but I've only gotten close once, when I had a good one get injured prepping for the first Bluegrass Derby, in 1999.

I've had one Breeder's Bowl runner, but Yoko Bone O ran 13th in the 12f Turf last year. However, Jumpin' Java (waradmiral stable) just won his 2nd Grade 1 today, the big 12f turfer at Ascot, and he will be highly-regarded in the BB Turf this year, if I can keep him healthy.

Other than the sim, I play trivia games everywhere I can, and Links golf on the computer (beats the heck outa Golden Tee!). For a living, I am a delivery driver.
