I had 4 winners this week.

1)ZARB'S PEACE--7 year old horse won a MSW 36,400, 1 mile on the turf. This was one of the horses I received with the stable. He had finished 2nd 3 times in a row in MSW races. I was sorta hoping he would finish 2nd again as the money and the bps in those races were good. Now I have to race against winners. He did post a 82 SR in the race.

2)FORTUNE N' FAME--5 year old mare that I just claimed for 20,000 last time out. She won a 6900 allowance 6 furlong sprint with a 99 SR.

3)GOLDEN NYMPH--3 year old filly won a 2500 claiming race over a mile on the dirt with a 81 SR. She was a 1000 auction buy and I have 2 wins and a 3rd with her since the buy. I just noticed that I lost this one to a claim today--so I made a profit on her.

4)ALL THAT MATTERS--4 year old filly won a 10000 claiming race at 10 furlongs on the turf with a 78 SR. I had claimed her recently for 3500.

I just had 1 winner this week. It was my 2 year old Lucky's Brook Lynn. She was in a small 4 horse field allowance, first time on turf and ran a 58. 3 races, 3 wins.....don't know what to do with her now. Her best race was her first one where she ran a 68 on dirt but in a 8 horse field. The other 2 races have been 4 horse fields. I hate to put her in a big field wher e she will probably get beat but, I guess her next race will more than likely be a stakes race on turf. She has to get beat sometime, guess the best place to lose is in a stakes race.

With my other stables, had no winners but did pick up quite a few BP's with 2nd and 3rd. Hope everyone was happy with their results for the weekend.

1 winner, HOPEFUL JESS a 3yO filly that ran a career best 88 sp in a $50K claimer. I claimed her for 13,500 a few races back, so she's paying dividends! Also had a 2nd and a 3rd from 4 starts in my redturkey2 stable.

I had two winners last week

1) Irish Major won for her fourth time out off 27 starts, and has earned 124k so far. It was an allowance 2t race and she was the morning line favorite off ten. She ran a 96sp and barely hung on at the wire. I claimed this filly last year for 40k. since then her record for me 11 2-2-1-3-3 So she has always earned something in every start. The real upside may be when she retires her bloodline is strong (Pulpit x Irish River) I am happy with the claim.

2)Comes from a barn I just took over recently. Rainbow Regent won a 35k claim race with an 88sp, which puts me in a tough position. He is lightly raced for a 5 year old 13 races, has one two straight off a long layoff, and has pretty good bloodlines (Rainbow Quest x Vice Regent) That if I leave him in claimers he will get claimed next out however he would need to improve on the 88 to be competitive against older horses in high starter ranks. Most likely Ill give him a chance in the starter races once before racing again as a claimer.

I would just breed the latter 5 year old over and spend the 250 for the sex change.

I just did that this week, got a Rahy, gone west daughter out of him. Since I have NO breeding stock, I went ahead and spent the extra 500 to get a fillie as well. I have no plans on racing her for at least a month or maybe later....she is just my breeding stock that I desperately need for the future.

Andy's Choice a 2yr old by Rainbow Quest x Gone West won a stakes to give him 2 from 2 it is early but he may turn out okay.
Miss Canungra a 2yr old filly won her maiden and is now 1 from 2 should be handy. I bred her from the same mare I used for Canungra Folly who has turned out pretty well. But instead of Danzig I used Dayjur, who has turned out to be very good for me.
I spent up big and bred a Gone W est x Danzig x Alydar and got a filly Jade's Treasure she won her maiden in great time so hopefully will turn out all right. Ammo Girl a mare out of Dayjur got a seconded in a stakes but the rest of mine ran down the track.
